"Transparent Perovskite Solar Cell" (CLEARPV) is an applied research project running between 2017-2020 in the framework of the M-ERA.NET scheme. We are proposing to develop large-area semi-transparent 6 inch durable perovskite photovoltaic modules with power conversion efficiency (PCE) over 13%. The modules can be directly used as building units. Moreover, they can be stacked with silicon solar cells for an expected PCE over 18% and approaching 25%. The program considers the materials and processing aspects of the new perovskite PV technology aiming for energy efficient process approach of low temperature (<150 oC) and solution fabrication. The work will be carried out by four members: Prof. W-F Su of National Taiwan University, Prof. A Kukovecz of Szeged University of Hungary, Dr. Y. Galagan of NTO and Dr. H-C Liao of FrontMaterials Co. Ltd. This project will bridge the current gap existing between pure laboratory development and end users manufacturing commercial products. The duration of the program will be 36 months with required funding budget of 620,000 EUR of which 570,000 EUR is requested as support.
